President: Allan Alday
Allan is the current Associate Director of Corporate Engagement for Year Up Bay Area. During his college years, he served as co-chair of Filipino Alliance, implementing social and cultural events that promoted understanding of Filipino culture, and representing the organization in the Pan-Asian Leadership Council. From 2008 to 2011, he remained active in organizations that supported Filipino and Filipino-American working professionals in the New York/New Jersey communities, volunteering as Editor-in-Chief and later serving on the board of Collaborative Opportunities for Raising Empowerment (CORE). His areas of interest include workforce development and training, higher education, community building, social enterprises, and corporate partnerships. Allan holds a Sc.B. in Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. He is currently based in San Francisco.
Treasurer: Shayenne Thompson
Shayenne is a Senior Tax Associate at Alvarez and Marsal and the founder of My Style of Learning. During undergrad, she helped charter Phi Alpha Delta, the first Pre-Law Professional Fraternity at UC Berkeley, providing resources to help students get into law school. She also coordinated Recruitment and Retention activities for Cal's Pilipino Academic Student Services (PASS) to help increase Filipinx admittance and presence on campus. During law school, she served as an Executive Board Member for UC Hastings' Pilipino American Law Society (PALS), coordinating job skills/training seminars such as Immigration 101. She also served as the Executive Managing Editor for UC Hastings' Business Law Journal. Shayenne holds a B.A. in Political Economy of Industrial Societies with a minor in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and a JD from UC Hastings College of the Law with a Concentration in Tax. She is here to help the group increase membership and diversity of professions represented in the organization. She is a finance professional who's ready to connect and serve.

Events Director: Breanne Batara
Breanne Batara is a second-generation Pinay, born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She moved to the Bay Area for graduate school, and received her MA in Museum Studies from the University of San Francisco in December 2017. She comes to YFPA with museum field experience, specifically in collections management, exhibition development and public programming. Back home, she was involved with the Filipino American National Historical Society, Seattle Art Museum and the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience. Here, she has worked for the Oakland Museum of California, the Thacher Gallery at USF, and most recently, Kearny Street Workshop (the oldest running multi-arts nonprofit for Asian Pacific American artists in the country). In 2018, she had the honor of being the annual APAture Festival Coordinator for KSW. She is excited to join YFPA’s Board as this year’s Events Diretcor, and collaborate with the local Filipino American community.
Mentorship Director: Isabela Pante
Isabela is a Persistence Advisor at East Bay College Fund as well as an Ally for Public Allies. She has been deeply involved in the Filipino community at her alma mater, serving as a retention/mentorship coordinator for 2 consecutive years. If it were not for college programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, she would not have graduated from college in 3 years. On her free time, she enjoys reading APA journal articles and community events!

Lydia Neff
Lydia is a Brand Integration Manager for iHeartMedia's (formerly known as Clear Channel) Integrated Media Platform and is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pixelfront Studios LLC. She is an accomplished professional with 9+ years of Digital Media Account Management focusing on Public Relations/Online Advertising and Project Management in Information Technology dedicated to Media, Web Services and Financial Services. A dependable teammate maintaining strong abilities in establishing and enhancing business relationships in both urban and small town communities while working effectively with staff teams, executives and community leaders. She has served the community for years as being part of the Philippine Consulate's Kalayaan Steering Committee, a member of the San Francisco-Manila Sister City Committee and a board member of the American Center of Philippine Arts. Ms. Neff is also a Marketing Consultant and a Correspondent for one of the Filipino Community's biggest online publication, Inquirer.net and the founder of OPM Republic. Beyond her "8-5" work she is a dancer who's done projects for Kularts and Fusion Dance Project.
Derrick Cagaanan
Derrick is the co-founder and director of Flipcause, Inc. and co-founder of The Kennel Boxing Gym, LLC. He also attended the Academy of Art University.
