YFPA President
An ideal President is a visionary leader with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of inspiring and guiding a team toward YFPA’s mission. They should be strategic thinkers who can foster collaboration, delegate effectively, and navigate challenges with confidence. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in leadership, wants to make a lasting impact on the Filipino professional community, and enjoys high-level decision-making and relationship-building.

- Supervise activities of the officers
- Oversee Board and Executive Committee meetings.
- Work with Vice President to ensure resolutions and amendments are implemented.
- Call special meetings if needed.
- Appoint committee chairs and with Vice President recommends who will serve on committees.

- Assist in conducting new board member orientation.
- Act as spokesperson for YFPA.
- Consult with board members in their roles and responsibilities, and performance of overall goals and objectives
Vice President
The Vice President should be a proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to step into the President’s role when needed. They should have a deep understanding of YFPA’s mission and be an advocate for its initiatives. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain leadership experience, develop executive decision-making skills, and play a critical role in shaping the organization’s future.

Secretary
An organized and detail-oriented individual would thrive in this role, as it requires excellent record-keeping, time management, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should be reliable and structured, ensuring smooth board operations and proper documentation. Treasurer
The Treasurer should be a financially savvy professional or experience in budgeting, accounting, or financial management, or experience in nonprofit organizations. They should be transparent, responsible, and meticulous with numbers. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys financial strategy, wants to ensure the financial sustainability of a nonprofit, and seeks to make a meaningful contribution to the Filipino professional community.

- Maintain knowledge of the organization and personal commitment to its goals and objectives.
- Maintain adequate and correct accounts of the properties and business transactions, including accounts of its assets, liabilities, receipts, disbursements, gains and losses;
- Understand financial accounting for non-profit organizations and tax filing requirements
- Direct potential Finance Committee.
- Manage with Finance Committee, the board's reviews of and actions related to board's financial responsibilities.
- Work with President and create appropriate financial reports that are made available and transparent to the Board on a timely basis.

- Report on transactions and financial condition of organization to the President, Board of Directors, and/or agent or attorney whenever requested.
Marketing Director
A creative and strategic thinker with expertise in branding, digital marketing, and public relations would excel in this role. They should have a strong understanding of storytelling and audience engagement. - Work with the President and executive committee to develop a marketing and communications plan and direct potential committee members.
- Lead and coordinate the organization's overall marketing and communication strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors and committees to develop and implement effective marketing and communication strategies that support our mission and goals.
- Develop and communicate guidelines and timelines of all marketing requests to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and refine YFPA's communications to ensure clear, concise and consistent messaging.
- Define media and public relevant public policy issues to leverage and support YFPA's mission.
- Create and implement plans to market the organization to the community and general public.
- Serve as chief editor for organization's press and media releases, promotional material, collateral, website, social media sites, photography, and videography and support digital platforms accordingly.
- Direct and support Marketing Committee members in planning marketing campaigns, and delegating accordingly.
- Provide public relations response to inquiries about YFPA.
- Ability to coach, train, develop and support senior team as effective spokespeople for YFPA.
Fundraising Director
The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder who enjoys networking and has experience in fundraising, sponsorships, or donor relations. They should be passionate about securing financial resources to support YFPA’s programs. This position is perfect for someone who loves creating partnerships, enjoys event-based fundraising, and wants to play a key role in expanding the organization’s reach and financial stability.

- Actively build relationships with professionals, community partners, and companies to promote fundraising, donations, and sponsorships
- Create strategic plan with Board of Directors to build and increase funds raised
- Direct Fundraising Committee and collaborate on all activities including fundraising events, grant applications, etc.
- Determine interests for potential upcoming fundraisers
- Maintain donor relations and any inquiries
- Track fundraising donations received and report to Treasurer on a monthly basis
- Monthly review of fundraising status at Board of Directors meetings
- Update fundraising database accordingly on a monthly basis, track source of funds raised for each event
Community Partnerships Director

The ideal candidate should be an advocate for collaboration, with the ability to develop meaningful partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations. - Maintain relationships and collaborate with community partners organizations that align with our mission. These can include Professional associations, Non-profit organizations, Student organizations, Corporate organizations, Employee Resource Groups, and more.
- Organize and coordinate volunteer events that support our mission and core values.
- Direct and support recruitment of volunteers for all events.
- Maintain volunteer relations, leverage talent in volunteer opportunities that give meaningful experiences to support YFPA's goals.
Professional Development Director
A passionate advocate for career growth and mentorship, the ideal candidate should have experience in workforce development, coaching, or event planning for educational programs. They should enjoy creating opportunities for professionals to learn, grow, and connect. This role is perfect for someone who wants to elevate Filipino professionals through knowledge-sharing, networking, and skill-building initiatives.

Scholarship Program Director

- Create and support Scholarship Program goals and objectives for current year term
- Support fundraising for scholarship programs
- Strategically plan and support outreach efforts to promote scholarship program to schools, students, and community partner organizations
- Oversee Scholarship selection process for a fair review of all applicants.
- Direct Scholarship Committee’s review of all applications and confirm adherence to program requirements
- Collaborate with Events Director and Board to plan Scholarship Awards Ceremony
- Collaborate with Marketing Communications Director and Board for media release announcement of awardees
Events Director
The ideal Events Director is a highly organized and creative planner who excels at executing impactful events. They should have experience in event coordination, logistics, and vendor relations. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys bringing people together, and loves crafting unique experiences that strengthen the YFPA community.

- Coordinate with volunteers with support of the Community Affairs committee
- Coordinate with Secretary and Board of Directors to schedule events accordingly, and determine any schedule conflicts
- Understand budgetary needs and stay within guidelines
- Propose and plan event timelines with event committee and Board of Directors
